Lea is one of my best friends and we’ve been doing this for so long. These characters are such a big part of our lives. These characters absolutely changed our lives. So to have it cumulate into that one moment is very powerful for both of us. We both got like chills. It was really weird. After he said Cut, we both were getting like hot flashes. It was really weird man. For some part of my little psyche, it was actually happening.
TVLINE | What a twist! Were you and Lea Michele aware that a proposal was on the way before you got the script?
We had our suspicions, but we weren’t really sure until we read the script. Lea and I phoned each other screaming because it was such a big deal, and we immediately knew how big of a deal it would be to the fans. We were floored and very excited.
So, Lea is sitting next to Emma Stone’s mom. Which means that empty seat belongs to Emma Stone, guys.
But .. LOL even Fox can’t get Cory’s four letter name right.
